In class we have been working really hard in everything we do! In social studies, we have been building a classroom community that shows positive manners, are "bucket fillers," and treat everyone fairly. Check out some of the work we have been doing!
Using all that we have learned about story structure (in language arts) and fairness (in social studies), we mapped out a story as a class. After coming up with our ideas and planning our story, students were assigned different sections of the story to work on. What they came up with was an exciting story about a boy going to his cousins' house and finding something cool! However, it broke before everyone got to play with it. Love the Class Fairness Book! I especially love that you took videos of their faces after their parts in the story. Thank you for sharing! I ask Zachary details about his day but he never tells me any, so at least with your blog, we get to see what's happening in class.
